My background includes education, business, and community service. I am a graduate of the University
of Texas at Austin and hold a lifetime teaching certificate. For 15 years I was an educator involved at all levels
up through adult education. In 1994, I became an administrator and director of operations for the family business - a
law firm. As my daughters grew up and graduated from college (Texas A&M), my civic involvement expanded to service
on the Leander City Council, and other boards, community committees, and in organizations.
