My candidacy for Mayor of Leander gives citizens an opportunity to elect a leader who cares about families, neighborhoods, and businesses. In recent years our community has been growing by leaps and bounds making it more attractive to commercial retailers for development.  The current economy, however, is taking a toll on our growth potential - at least in the near future.  I believe that these circumstances will provide city leaders with an opportune time to take a hard look at the growth and infrastructure.  This includes public access and mobility challenges.  Now is the time to reexamine the impact that our decisions will have.  I am proactive by nature and motivated to move our city forward in a way that both protects our way of life and welcomes new lifeblood.

Leander, Texas will be my home for as long as I am in control of my destiny.  I want this to be a place that will allow and encourage our children and grandchildren to live here, shop here, work here, and play here.  As Leander's next mayor, I will offer my best efforts and guide the decisions to ensure that we will establish policies that Leander's citizens and her businesses will appreciate.
